More to come, less to leave

Hello friends of the monde!
Apologies for not updating lately, with this school year ending and next year's looking like it's going to be a completely different one, I've been feeling a bunch of mixed emotions lately. While I'm really looking forward to this summer, I can't seem to let go of this year just yet...

As I have obnoxiously (I hope not too much) been reminding you, I am due to travel to paradise in less than 12 days! While I cannot be more excited to get sand in my shoes and sun in my eyes, I'm mostly looking forward to the volunteer work I'm planning to do.
I will be spending at least half of my time in Bali helping out with a philanthropic organization called I'm An Angel.

Check it out: HERE

From the website: “I’m An Angel”, the Bali-based non-profit foundation is dedicated towards empowering rural communities as they strive to improve their standard of living amidst resource scarcity and socio-economic challenges.
Funds are raised throughout the year by an ever-expanding group of loyal sponsors and an annual Gala Charity Event at KUDETA, Bali. This generous support allows the valuable work of the “I’m An Angel” project team to continue and expand new innovative programs that can have a profound impact on the lives of disadvantaged Balinese communities.

Next weekend the charity will be hosting a benefit at one of Bali's hottest clubs, Ku De Ta. For more information on the June 18th benefit: Click HERE

Ku De Ta, is one of my favorite places in the world. I've spent many memorable moments there, not clubbing the night away, instead, making amazing memories with my family.

Here are some pictures of my 2010 New Year's Eve spent at Ku De Ta:

Now do you see why I simply can't wait to go back!
